Channel method training is one of the most popular approaches to teaching your dog how to perform and perfect weave poles. The poles stay vertical throughout the process. At first they're offset on either side of the 'channel', pole #1 to the left, #2 to the right, etc. Your dog runs straight down the centerline. Bit by bit, you move the poles toward the center, so that your dog gradually learns how to make the weaving motion.
EZ Channel makes it easy! Adjusting the channel width is simply a matter of nudging the poles inward or outward. They can be locked at a certain width by one twist of a set screw built into the slider. Each slider is independent of the others (each pole can be individually adjusted) and sliders all have stake holes for outdoor use. Best of all, when the poles are inline and locked down, EZ Channel is regulation, competition equipment!
Each EZ Channel base is a solidly welded unit, available with your choice of sliders (standard or WAM). Sets can be made up of 2-pole units or 3-pole units. They're only 1/2" tall and perfectly flat on top. Connectors (both rigid and hinged are included) are hidden beneath the surface.
Perfect for everyday use, from the first day of channel method training all the way to competition. EZ Channel bases have been approved by AKC Agility Field Reps and used in officially licensed club trials. They are slightly more robust than Porta Channel bases, and therefore we recommend them for customers who mainly need to move them around a training facility. [Porta Channel is better suited for frequent transportation, especially in small vehicles.]

EZ Channel is truly easy to set up too! Legs are welded to the centerline base, so all you have to do is engage the sliders, slip on the PVC and attach connectors (2 screws each, hex key included). A set of 12 can be assembled in minutes!
